Tod F. Parker

Tod F. Parker is a freelance photographer providing top-notch "in-the-field" Fire & Rescue photography normally found shooting photographs of incidents, apparatus, and training inside and the surrounding counties and cities of central Indiana.  Originally starting on the East Coast of Virginia, he has passed the duty onto Kelly Burgess (Bio below).  His studio and equipment are fully digital in all aspects and as a result, provide the best quality product possible at a price that is easily affordable.    Tod is an expert at shooting fire-related activity and specializes at nighttime photography - an area most shy away from due to the difficulty involved.  He has captured some of the most stunning photography in this particular field and his website, ayrow.com, is one of the largest fire photography sites in the world containing over 1800+ photographs from current and past fires he personally captured.  Last year alone, he personally photographed over 100 different fires in the Tidewater area, most of which are posted on this website.
Since he is freelance, his photographs are frequently found in the local newspapers, several large websites like Firehouse.com, and on the covers and insides of several magazines - most recently, Virginia Fire News Magazine.  All of his images are also available for hi-resolution stock.

Kelly Burgess


Born, raised, and currently residing in Hampton Roads, VA, Kelly is quite active in the Fire & Rescue arena.
He has been a Public Safety dispatcher for the city of Norfolk for the past 20 years has served in several other areas including over 16 years of volunteer rescue service to Chesapeake and Suffolk, VA.  He worked as an auxiliary police officer for two years in Chesapeake, VA and now owns Emergency Vehicle Services, a company that specializes in the installation and customization of emergency lighting and electronics on emergency vehicles.  He is very well-versed in everything Fire & Rescue related and is now the main contributor/photographer to Ayrow.com from the Hampton Roads area.
